John is passionate about his mission and calling as a financial advisor focusing on wealth management, so clients' dreams can be realized, and charitable giving, so others’ dreams can be realized. He wants all of his clients to “live with passion and purpose, free from financial worry.”
John’s work ethic stems from his early life on a farm and later as an inner-city pastor in New York City and New Jersey. He has been a financial advisor since 1992 and has been an “independent advisor” since 2002. John’s experience, expertise, and service to his clients have been recognized in the financial services industry through various awards and speaking opportunities.
As an independent financial consultant, John is able to offer informed, impartial, and tailored guidance for each client. He is a “life advisor” who can help with comprehensive, customized planning needs. John incorporates wealth management, long-term needs, risk management, income needs, and life goals in his planning process. John’s specialty is retirement income planning, and he is passionate about helping clients reach their goals and dreams.
John and his wife, Jenny, are the parents of three grown children. John is actively involved in church, community, family, and golf when time permits.
Matt Zuleger, CFP®

Matt is an independent consultant with Augustine Financial, LLC. Matt joined the firm in 2007 and has worked previously as a financial consultant. Starting with Lutheran Brotherhood, Matt has been doing comprehensive financial planning since 1997, including investments, retirement planning, college funding, and insurance analysis. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College, earning a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis on finance.
Matt works closely with John Augustine and serves on the firm’s financial planning and investment policy committees. He is instrumental in the day-to-day implementation of investment philosophy and the ongoing portfolio management process. A firm believer in asset allocation and opportunistic rebalancing, Matt enjoys working with clients through the financial planning process and helping to merge investment strategies to fit their unique and ever-changing goals.
Matt and his wife, Ann, reside in West Bend and have been married since 1996. He is the father of four and is actively involved in his church and community. Matt is a former treasurer and youth discipleship chairperson of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. He has coached both West Bend Little League and Good Shepherd girls’ basketball. He is passionate about spending time with his family, especially by cheering on his children at all of their sporting events.
