John is passionate about his mission and calling as a financial advisor focusing on wealth management, so clients' dreams can be realized, and charitable giving, so others’ dreams can be realized. He wants all of his clients to “live with passion and purpose, free from financial worry.” 

John’s work ethic stems from his early life on a farm and later as an inner-city pastor in New York City and New Jersey. He has been a financial advisor since 1992 and has been an “independent advisor” since 2002. John’s experience, expertise, and service to his clients have been recognized in the financial services industry through various awards and speaking opportunities. 

As an independent financial consultant, John is able to offer informed, impartial, and tailored guidance for each client. He is a “life advisor” who can help with comprehensive, customized planning needs. John incorporates wealth management, long-term needs, risk management, income needs, and life goals in his planning process. John’s specialty is retirement income planning, and he is passionate about helping clients reach their goals and dreams.

John and his wife, Jenny, are the parents of three grown children. John is actively involved in church, community, family, and golf when time permits. 

Matt Zuleger, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner™

Matt is an independent consultant with Augustine Financial, LLC. Matt joined the firm in 2007 and has worked previously as a financial consultant. Starting with Lutheran Brotherhood, Matt has been doing comprehensive financial planning since 1997, including investments, retirement planning, college funding, and insurance analysis. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College, earning a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis on finance.

Matt works closely with John Augustine and serves on the firm’s financial planning and investment policy committees. He is instrumental in the day-to-day implementation of investment philosophy and the ongoing portfolio management process. A firm believer in asset allocation and opportunistic rebalancing, Matt enjoys working with clients through the financial planning process and helping to merge investment strategies to fit their unique and ever-changing goals.

Matt and his wife, Ann, reside in West Bend and have been married since 1996. He is the father of four and is actively involved in his church and community. Matt is a former treasurer and youth discipleship chairperson of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. He has coached both West Bend Little League and Good Shepherd girls’ basketball. He is passionate about spending time with his family, especially by cheering on his children at all of their sporting events.

Bill Auble

Associate Advisor

Bill Auble brings over 24 years of financial services expertise to the Augustine Financial team. He started his career in 1994 as a financial advisor with Fortis Investors in Downers Grove, Illinois. His focus the last 20 years has been on the product side, supporting advisors with various investment strategies including Mutual Funds, Variable Annuities, 401(k), Structured Products and REITs. Bill spent time at Nuveen Investments and Deutsche Asset Management (formerly Kemper Funds) in downtown Chicago. His last 8 years have been spent on the alternative investment side, specializing in real estate. 
He and his wife Lisa have three kids and reside in Muskego, WI. His son is attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and daughters are at Muskego High School. In his spare time Bill enjoys playing golf, racquetball and spending time with his family. 

Austin Finn

Associate Advisor

Austin brings a fresh perspective to our team.  He began his career with LPL Financial in June of 2017. He was a part of the pilot LPL Junior Advisor Program which provided intensive training and education. During that time he became FINRA licensed with Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations. He enjoys helping clients achieve their life goals by creating a detailed financial plan and acting as a continuous resource every step of the way. He is dedicated to daily learning and understands that it is a lifelong process.
Austin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business degree in 2017. He received Cum Laude honors while majoring in Finance. Austin was a pitcher for the Whitewater baseball team from 2013-2017. During that time, he was a member of two College World Series appearances and a member of the 2014 National Championship Team.

Austin, a Wisconsin native, grew up in an entrepreneurial family and was born and raised in Oconomowoc. He is a passionate Wisconsin sports fan and attends as many games as he can. He enjoys playing baseball and golf, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
