What is an independent financial professional? An independent professional works for the client, not a brokerage or insurance company. This means they can offer you informed, unbiased guidance based on a careful PROCESS determined by your goals. The many choices and product options from multiple vendors will help you work toward pursuing your unique goals.
Why should I use an independent financial professional? You may enjoy watching the market or keeping track of your investments. Yet, it can become time consuming to try to keep up—especially when you have more important priorities, such as your family, your business, and your life. At Augustine Financial, we investigate each product thoroughly and keep up-to-date on industry changes to provide answers for each client's needs. We have a collaborative style that combines our expertise and the level of involvement that you choose, based on your time and interest. Perhaps you have some anxiety about your financial situation. You may not know where to begin. At Augustine Financial, we make complex situations simple and easy to understand and always take the time to explain things in a way that helps you feel at ease with every step of the process. Our P.A.R.R. (Plan, Act, Review and Revise) process helps to design and redesign a financial plan, as life needs changes and evolve.
What makes Augustine Financial different from other financial consultants? Augustine and the staff of Augustine Financial work with you on a consistent basis to establish a long-term relationship. Your finances are impacted by events or situations in your life that may seem completely unrelated. But, when we take the time understand those parts of your life, we can view your finances in a different light. Call to set up an initial meeting to see for yourself.
Who does Augustine Financial work with? We work with individuals who are planning for retirement, nearing retirement, or who are already retired. We work with entrepreneurs and closely held family businesses to provide benefits to owners and their employees. We work with church leaders and nonprofit organizations, as well as individuals who wish to make a difference in the world.
What happens when I get to the office for the first time? The initial meeting is spent getting to know one another, while discussing your goals and some definitions of financial success. Because we believe in the value of a long-term relationship with each of our clients, we do not ask you to make any decisions during the initial meeting. Instead, we take the time to learn about you. In a series of one-on-one conversations, we will develop a tailor-made plan that includes your unique financial objectives. What do I need to bring to the first meeting? The more stuff you can bring to your first meeting, the better. Since we do not make any decisions during the first meeting, don't worry if you do not have all of your papers in one place. To make the collection process a bit easier, we've devised a document checklist. You can use this as a guideline to get you started. How do I know WHEN to call you? When our clients think about money decisions in their lives, they call us or come in and see us. We provide personal attention and invite questions that may not seem like financial ones. We also want you to call us to discuss changes in your life and how they could affect your finances, such as a new baby or job changes.
Our goal is your financial success—success that may be attained from a financial plan that considers all aspects of your life. We offer guidance on many areas of personal and business financial planning.
